R.D'meure is a small artisan producer at Flowerpot on Tasmania's D'Entrecasteaux Channel — one of Australia's most southerly planted vineyards, overlooking Bruny Island roughly 40 km south of Hobart. Founded through a collaboration between retired academic lawyer Dirk Meure and his nephew Rory Duggan, the vineyard has used no systemic sprays or herbicides since 2004, a commitment that predates the formal organic movement by many years. Wines — Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot — are wild-fermented and made without additions, fining or filtration, with only a small dose of sulphur at bottling if required. The estate holds deep personal significance: the D'Entrecasteaux Channel is where Dirk's Dutch-immigrant parents settled in 1950.
R.D'meure has practised organic viticulture since 2004 — using no systemic sprays or herbicides — but does not currently list a formal third-party certification such as ACO or NASAA. Winemaking is equally minimal: wild fermented with no additions, fining or filtration.
R.D'meure produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot from the Flowerpot estate on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel in southern Tasmania.

The winery was co-founded by Dirk Meure and his nephew Rory Duggan. After 15 years re-establishing the vineyard and converting to organic practices, Dirk moved to NSW and Rory continues as winemaker.
