Passing Clouds is a family-owned estate at Musk in the Daylesford and Macedon Ranges region of Victoria, with over 50 years of history since its founding in 1974. Since 2017, the estate has moved to biodynamic and regenerative farming practices, producing cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the estate alongside Shiraz and additional varieties sourced from Bendigo and Port Phillip. The cellar door is open seven days a week for personalised tastings, and the dining room serves La Famiglia-style shared lunches Friday to Monday, making it a genuine destination winery. A unique partnership with the Spa Country Railway offers a Train + Wine + Dine experience on select Sundays.
Passing Clouds has farmed the estate using biodynamic and regenerative practices since 2017 but does not state a formal third-party certification (such as Demeter or ACO) on its website.
The estate produces cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Musk vineyard, as well as Shiraz and other varieties sourced from growers in Bendigo and the Port Phillip region, all made with a low-intervention philosophy.
